Montana and I decided to spur of the moment see a film at a local cinema yesterday afternoon as we were too jet lagged to be up to any real sightseeing. The film we went to was in fact a black and white silent film, which made staying awake in a darkened theatre extremely difficult. (Imagine our surprise) It was called The Artist and was apparently nominated for several Oscars. Montana spent most of the movie poking us with various pointy implements to keep us awake.

After a pleasant Italian dinner we went back to our hostel to take advantage of the bar downstairs from us. It was karaoke night, of course, so we lustily sang Friends in Low Places to deter any ideas that we might be Americans. We made many friends and met our roommates, two girls from Iceland! They are extremely nice but they seem to believe that this -2/-3 weather is very cold. It's fun to meet new people and learn about different places.
